Application scope:

This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the bending fatigue test of steel wire ropes for lifts, test principles, test equipment, test parameters, test requirements, test procedures, and test reports.

This standard applies to the determination of the bending fatigue life of elevator ropes.

Test principle:

The wire rope sample simulates the actual operation condition of the elevator and bypasses the test wheel (drag wheel) with a certain wrap angle, and applies tension to it, repeats bending at a certain frequency, and evaluates the performance of the steel wire rope to withstand bending fatigue. Test device selection:

1. Elevator steel wire rope bending fatigue tester can adopt vertical _ or horizontal structure. Mountain test wheel, guide wheel, load wheel, counting device, transmission system, loading system, control system and other parts. The replacement of the test wheel should be convenient, and the position of the test wheel and the relevant guide wheel can be adjusted according to the diameter of the sample, so that the angle of the test sample on the test wheel and the way of winding the rope can be adjusted.

2, the test wheel material is generally selected ductile iron, test wheel hardness of 220HBW-260HBW, wheel groove surface hardness of algae should not be greater than 15HBW. With special requirements, test wheels of other materials or hardness can also be used. The test wheel has three kinds of grooved U-shaped groove, U-shaped groove and V-shaped groove. In general, a notched U-groove test wheel is used. The diameter of the pitch circle of the test wheel is 40 times the nominal diameter of the wire rope. The size of other guide wheels should not be larger than the test wheel. The test wheel and other guide wheels should be flexible in rotation. The dimensional deviation of the test wheel should comply with the national standard.

3, elevator wire rope bending fatigue testing machine should have automatic technical devices.

4. The rotation frequency of the test wheel of the elevator steel wire rope bending fatigue tester should be able to meet the frequency requirement of the bending fatigue test.

5, elevator steel wire rope bending fatigue tester loading system should be able to meet the requirements of the test, tension tolerance is ± 3%.

6. The test fixture should be firm to ensure that the specimen does not loosen during the test.

7. The elevator steel wire rope bending fatigue tester shall ensure that the displacement of the specimen is on a uniform plane, the arrangement of the guide wheels shall be reasonable, and the friction between the test specimen and the test wheel groove shall be avoided.

8. The control system for bending fatigue test equipment for steel wire ropes should be able to adjust the test frequency with a permissible deviation of ±1 time/min.
