Ningbo wants to build the largest auto parts procurement center

On November 24th, 2010, the Ningbo International Auto Parts & Components (Equipment) Import & Export Fair was held in Ningbo International Automobile City. Over 500 auto parts exhibitors from all parts of the country seamlessly connected with more than 300 domestic and foreign buyers. Through this procurement platform, over the past three years, direct or indirect export transactions have reached more than 1 billion US dollars.

The automobile industry is one of the important industries for the development of the 12th Five-Year Plan in China and is also a strategic pillar industry in Zhejiang Province. Ningbo has more than 3,000 auto parts manufacturing companies and 624 large-scale enterprises. Many companies have also become complete vehicle supporting companies for international and domestic famous auto brands. Ningbo International Automobile City has taken advantage of this advantage to create a global procurement platform. It has also signed joint sales agreements with Ningguo City and other regions in Anhui Province to initially form a network chain for the automobile parts industry in the Yangtze River Delta Region.
