As the engine supporting systems of all heavy truck companies have been improved, and with the further improvement of Dongfeng commercial vehicle engine plant products (mainly the dCil1 and 4H series), it will inevitably expand the supporting share in the system. Industry insiders told reporters that in the past two years, Dongfeng Tianlong has gradually increased the number of dCil1 and 4H series engines. Therefore, to further expand the supporting range of high-powered engines and find more stable partners, it becomes a key issue for Yuchai's heavy-duty engines.

To catch Guangzhou Automobile's Hino, Yuchai can promote its high-powered engine. In addition, although Yuchai's engines currently match the Yangcheng light trucks in the GAC system, GAC Hino has said that it does not rule out the introduction of Hino's light truck products. CIMC took a fancy to the brand and products of GAC Hino. The related person in charge of CIMC told the reporter: “Guangxi introduced the Hino heavy truck to China and positioned it in the high-end market. We have inspected their products and found that the quality is good.”
