Yichang Ship Chai received 8 bulk carrier orders

Recently, Yichang Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Jiangmen Nanyang Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the supply of 39,000 DWT bulk carriers. In the next three years, Yichang Shipai will supply eight 5S50ME-B9.2 marine low-speed high-power diesel engines to Jiangmen Nanyang. A one-time contract for the supply of eight low-speed high-power diesel engines for ships was rarely seen in the low-demand ship market, which laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two companies.

Huang Fei, general manager of Jiangmen Nanyang, said that the eight diesel engines will be used in its newly launched 39,000 DWT bulk carrier. At present, the new ship type is in the procurement stage of equipment materials. Since the 5S50ME-B9.2 marine low-speed high-power diesel engine has good fuel economy and can meet the design requirements of the new ship type, the company decided to order this type of mainframe in batches. It is understood that the two companies have cooperated since the early establishment of Jiangmen Nanyang. Jiangmen Nanyang has highly affirmed the product quality and service of Yichang Shipai.
