Currently, the price per square meter of perovskite solar panels does not exceed $100, while the most expensive silicon-based solar panels cost $300 per square meter. In the case of large-scale production, the price will differ by a factor of three.

And the battery is light and flexible. The perovskite material can be used not only on glass, but also on other materials and surfaces, such as applying it to a flexible substrate for curling. The battery can be used not only in daily use. It can also be applied to mobile electronic devices.

The researchers said that this perovskite solar panel will expand the scope of solar cells, and the benefits are much more obvious, and may replace silicon-based solar cells in the future.
