He predicted that during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, China will increase the number of gas stations by 3,000, and the total number of gas stations will reach 5,000, which may form the world's largest natural gas vehicle refueling network. Among them, in addition to taxis and some buses continue to use CNG, intercity passenger and cargo vehicles and new buses will widely use LNG, the proportion of which will be greatly increased.

Brenda Smith, director of the Asia-Pacific Gas Vehicle Association, also said at the forum yesterday that 25% of the world's energy consumption is used for transportation, and there is huge room for fuel substitution. While the current oil reserves are declining, natural gas reserves are rising, and the greatest potential for replacing petroleum fuels in the future is in LNG and CNG.

At present, there are more than 14 million road transport vehicles in China. In the future, if a large number of LNGs are used as fuel, the LNG automobile market has the potential for explosive growth, which drives LNG engines, LNG cylinders and LNG plus gas vehicles.
