Igus introduces ball bearings that are available without oil lubrication in high temperature environments

Igus has introduced the ball bearing "BB-A500-ES" series and the "BB-A500-GL" series, which can be used without oil supply and without lubrication. Since it does not require a lubricant, it is suitable for a semiconductor cleaning device, a chemical manufacturing device, and the like that require high cleanliness.
The inner and outer wheel materials of the two ball bearing series are made of the polymer "Iglidur A500" made by the company. This polymer is characterized by its ability to be used at temperatures up to 150 Â°C. It has obtained FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) certification and can be used in the manufacture of food and pharmaceutical products. The bearing cage is made of polyamide (PA) and polyetheretherketone (PEEK).
The difference between the two series of ball bearings is that the ES series is equipped with stainless steel balls, while the GL series is equipped with glass balls. The latter applies to places that are in contact with pharmaceuticals. There are 4 products with inner diameters of 3, 6, 8, 10mm. Adopt an open price.
