The Saga Plant began operations in 1982 and can produce about 90,000 tons of steel cords and 700 tons of steel wire for cables each year.

The company said that it had taken a series of measures to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of its factories in Heiji. However, it was constrained by the ever-increasing competition in the steel cord industry, and the competitiveness of the Heiji plant continued to be low, eventually prompting it to close down the plant. decision.
