Dr. Zhang Zengteng told reporters that EGR technology is generally used only under special circumstances. For example, when frequent shutdowns and exhaust gas temperatures are low (below 200 degrees Celsius), the efficiency of the scr post-processing system becomes lower and it does not play a good role in reducing emissions. In addition, in terms of fuel consumption, the use of EGR technology to meet the use of SCR technology to meet the country IV country V emissions will have about 3-5% of the fuel consumption disadvantages, so that SCR technology has become the mainstream of commercial vehicle country IV countries V emissions.
