On July 5-6, 2010, Mr. ANDREI, the general manager of the Chita 88 Central Auto Repairing Plant Open Stock Co., Ltd. in Russia, was invited by Yuchai’s Russian office to visit Yuchai. Wu Qiwei, deputy general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., welcomed the visit of the general manager of ANDREI and presided over the talks. The general manager of ANDREI visited the factory and spoke highly of Yuchai’s production conditions and personnel quality. During the period, relevant leaders of overseas marketing department, customer service center, and product application development department had a fruitful talk with 88 factories, and finally signed a service agency agreement, opening up a new phase of cooperation between Yuchai and the 88 factory. At this point, the Yuchai Russian market has added a powerful service agent to provide more protection options for Yuchai products after-sales service in the Russian market.
The Chita 88 plant in Russia belongs to the Russian Ministry of Defense and is a key enterprise in the Post-Baikal Krai and Chita. The factory is mainly engaged in the maintenance and spare parts supply of Russian KAMAZ trucks in the region of Post-Baikal Krai and the refurbishment and overhaul of KAMAZ and ZIL vehicles. At present, the company has increased Dongfeng’s light truck assembly project, and all of them are supporting the Yuchai 4F90-30 engine. The factory occupies more than 24 hectares, employs over 300 people, has professional equipment, personnel, and venues for the maintenance of vehicles and engines, and is constantly undergoing modernization.
88 factories cooperate with big group companies in major cities in Russia and have contracted to have 20 large service stations. The network covers major regions in Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Chita, and Bushi etc. city. This cooperation with Yuchai will help Yuchai to further open up the Russian market.
