Wärtsilä won 4 MPSV designs and supporting contracts

As a leading solution and service provider in the marine industry, Wärtsilä has signed a large project contract with Armada Offshore MPSV Ltd. to provide design services for its four multi-purpose platform support vessels (MPSV). The company is a Malaysian international offshore oilfield service provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of Bumi Armada Berhad, the largest marine support vessel owner and operator in Malaysia. Wärtsilä also offers a comprehensive range of complementary solutions for each vessel. The ship will be built by a subsidiary of Nanchang Co., Ltd., the largest offshore support ship builder in Malaysia. One of the shipyards is Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in China. Wärtsilä and Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. signed the contract in March 2013.
For each of the four vessels, Wärtsilä offers a comprehensive solution contract including basic custom design, main power generation system, propulsion system, Wärtsilä Low Loss Concept (LLC) power system and automation system. The order is a successor to Wärtsilä's successful ship design and complete integration of Wärtsilä machinery, power and automation equipment for Bumi Armada Berhad in 2011.
The unique WSD 1000 design meets the specific needs and operating modes of complex offshore engineering applications. At the same time, the interface and detail stages of the construction process benefit greatly from the design and mechanical equipment from the same supplier as Wärtsilä. The concept of a single supplier also reduces the time and cost associated with procurement and logistics processes, while alleviating many of the concerns of project completion. “Wah Ceylon offers a comprehensive and fully integrated packaged project that includes a range of synergies such as ship design, efficient propulsion equipment, and state-of-the-art automation systems to add real value to our customers. We are a trusted partner. This valuable order is once again reflected in the ability to develop a total solution concept,” said Magnus Miemois, Vice President, Wärtsilä Ship Power Solutions.
Wärtsilä has a ship design business in 10 countries around the world. The global business of Wärtsilä ship design is in line with the company's strategy and is closer to the needs of its customers, including ship owners and shipyards. Wärtsilä's design capabilities enable dialogue with customers at an earlier stage to provide a more competitive solution.

Sheet Metal Shear

Heavy-duty hydraulic sheet metal shears are suitable for compressing and cutting thin & light materials, production and living scrap steel, light metal structural parts, scrap car body, wheel hub, old home alliances, plastic non-ferrous metals(stainless steel, aluminum alloy, copper, etc), or used to compress and bale the above mentioned materials.
The machine is able to:
A) Prepressing and cut scrap
B) Cut bars
C) Packages light scrap
D) Squeeze and cut car bodies
E) We updated the pump to HY type, which has more novel and reasonable structure, with low noise, flow is larger with same motor power.
