The focus is expected to lead the rapid growth of the entire valve market.

According to reports, in the next 10 years, China will have more than 20,000 kilometers of oil pipelines to be constructed, including cross-border oil pipelines such as Russia and Kazakhstan. In addition, following the “West-East Gas Transmission”, China will also build more than 20,000 kilometers of transnational gas pipelines and feeders. These projects require approximately 20,000 large-diameter pipeline ball valves and small- and medium-caliber ball valves and flat plate valves; 10 to 20 million-ton large-scale oil refineries will also be built, and a batch of 800,000 to 1 million tons of large-scale ethylene will be newly built or rebuilt and expanded. There are also more than a dozen sets of large-scale PTA plants with 500,000 to 600,000 tons/year of approved and pending approvals, which will provide a huge market for the valve industry; the construction of large-scale fertilizer and ammonia plants will also provide opportunities for the valve manufacturing industry. In addition, direct coal liquefaction is likely to form a new industry. Because the coal direct liquefaction process medium has high working temperature, high pressure and high solid particle content, it has high requirements for valves and will form an emerging market.

According to the experts of the association, in the development of these new valve products, attention should be paid to the promotion and application of new process technologies. For example, the development of long-distance pipelines for large-diameter integral ball valves should adopt integral welding technology; in order to improve the corrosion resistance and erosion resistance of valve sealing surfaces, a few Manufacturers have begun to use supersonic flame spraying tungsten carbide technology, and should pay attention to the use of nano-materials on the sealing surface coating modification, and laser cladding technology research and development. In addition, the cobalt-chromium-tungsten-plasma-wired automatic build-up welding technology applied in the valve industry for many years should continue to be promoted to replace manual welding to ensure the quality of the valve sealing surface; in order to realize the automatic control of the engineering device process flow, intelligent electric motors should be strengthened. The development of hydrodynamic transmission valve; speed up the development of new transmission methods such as magnetic drive, the development of new closed magnetic transmission valve series, eliminating the leakage point between the valve stem and the filler, making it suitable for flammable, explosive, toxic, Corrosive media and pipelines that require locking and prevent misuse.

To this end, the valve industry should establish enterprise groups, increase investment in science and technology, develop high, large, refined, sharp valve products; strengthen product standardization work, so that standards in the number and level to keep up with the needs of the development of the situation.
