It is reported that the first Lubricant Technical Service Center established by Shell in China is located in the Gaolan Port Economic Zone of Zhuhai City. It is located in the vicinity of Zhuhai Plant, Shell's largest lubricant blending plant in Asia, with a total investment of approximately 45 million yuan. The technical service center will provide comprehensive lubrication solutions for the domestic automotive, marine and machinery industries, and will become an important research base for Shell Group's lubrication application technology. At the same time, the center will provide Shell customers with technical services, training, and other support, and will carry out academic exchanges with domestic universities and research institutes on lubrication technologies at home and abroad. In response to Shell's decision to establish a substantial R&D center in China, Yang Fan, director of marketing for Shell Lubricants in China and Hong Kong, stated that the company has no clear plans yet.
