Bridgestone to recall 36,000 truck tires for safety problems due to quality problems

Bridgestone Americas Inc. recently announced that it will recall 36,000 FS561 tires for safety reasons.

The tyres that Bridgestone recalled were produced between February 2015 and January 27, 2016, and are FS561 tires with a specification of 255/70R22.5. The tires are mainly used for trailers, manufactured in the United States and Canada.

Bridgestone said that due to quality problems, the recalled tires may cause adverse effects such as tread peeling during vehicle travel.

It is understood that other specifications of the FS561 are not within the scope of this recall. Bridgestone said there are no reports of accidents or injuries caused by the recall of tires.

For recalled defective products, users can exchange for free FS560 or Fengtai through other types of tires through Bridgestone Direct Stores and authorized stores.
