According to him, his shop is now changing about 5 vehicles a day, and it has reached a maximum of 14 vehicles, 2 to 3 times more than before. Regular conversions are very safe. The complete set of CNG retrofit components generally includes gas relief valves, fuel injection simulators, ignition advancers, transfer switches, and the like in addition to the gas cylinders. The total price of these sets of accessories differs depending on the place of production. Imports are about 1900 yuan, and Chinese-foreign joint ventures and domestic production are generally 3,400 yuan less. The general steel gas cylinders commonly used in cars are worth about 2,600 yuan. The volume is divided into 50 liters, 55 liters, 60 liters, and 65 liters. The price difference is about 100 yuan.

Spend several thousand dollars to refit CNG, one year will be able to meet the cost of a 1.6-litre POLO sedan to drive air-conditioning as an example. In the urban area, 100 kilometers of fuel consumption (93) is about 8.5 liters, and the cost per kilometer is 0.64. yuan. After switching to 50 yuan for compressed natural gas, it ran 160 kilometers at a cost of 0.31 yuan per kilometer. With a calculation of 50 kilometers a day, the investment can be recovered within 6 months. In so saying, oil to gas is really "value". And it's value!

According to the master, one of the major problems in the use of natural gas vehicles is that the power of the engine is significantly lower than when using gasoline. When natural gas is used as fuel, the natural gas itself contains trace amounts of sulfur compounds. The components of the combustion chamber are corrosive, and even the crankshaft is corroded. Valves, piston rings, and cylinders are heavily worn. Compared with the use of gasoline, the automobile overhaul period is usually shortened. This is another problem that natural gas vehicles face.
